Mail Settings Are All Ignored and reset to Blank every time Updated

I have the same issue. I updated because Postie was accepting no input email anymore (I got error messages with subject : “Unauthorized Post Attempt from @”).

After the update : impossible to fill the settings, they always return to blank fields.

@blindcrazy 4.3 is a fairly old version of WordPress (released 2 years ago) any chance you can update to 4.8?

Postie 1.9 seems to work fine with WP 4.8

I have just upgraded to 4.8 and now it works.

I have the same issue however another issue has prevented me for years updating wordpress to a new version it just hangs whilst unpacking a new version.
is there anyway of getting the old version of postie back as its my lifeline to shore whilst away for a month in 2 days from now. Peter
