Mail Settings, Emails are "From" User

I set up an “Admin Upload to User Email” in the Mail Settings section. The mail comes from the correct address (presumably wordpress default email address), but the “From” name is that user’s name.

So let’s say for example:

My name: John Doe
My email: [email protected]

User name: Bob Smith
User email: [email protected]

Expected action: email comes from “John Doe” <[email protected]>

Actual action: email comes from “Bob Smith” <[email protected]>

Is there a way to fix this?
