Mail text formatting issue

    Hi,
    a few customers have already contacted us today saying that the mail text is no longer formatted if the ‘Use HTML content type’ checkbox is not activated.

    Do you already have an eye on this? Can you please take a look?

    Seems that for us, it’s fixed now. Might have been this update today from “WP Mail Logging”

    1.13.1 – 2024-10-10

    Added: Action hook when saving email logs.
    Fixed: Issue with email content type.

    Same for us! After updating to WordPress 6.6.2 and the latest plugin version a few mails doesn’t get formatted properly. This bug does nog occur always though.

    Luckily we have some logging (WP Mail Log) and I found 2 differences.
    1. All malformatted mails had a differrent headers logged. It seems the header content-type is placed after the other headers.
    2. All HTML is missing in the body.

    Header example
    Correct: From: [email protected],\nContent-Type: text/html,\nX-WPCF7-Content-Type: text/html,\nReply-To: [email protected]

    Incorrect: From: [email protected],\nX-WPCF7-Content-Type: text/plain,\nReply-To: [email protected],\nContent-Type: text/html

    Installed the “WP Mail Logging” update released today and it looks OK.
