Mail with link to the thing that need review

    If this already have been covered I do apologize but I can’t find that answer anywhere.
    When a person enters a new recipe on the site and submits it for review, right now the editor receives an email that says that a recipe is waiting to be reviewed. So far so very good. But is there a way to insert a direct link to the recipe that need reviewing in the mail that is being sent to the editor?

    Have you tried the [permalink] shortcode for this?

    I haven’t. I looked at the shortcodes including that one, I just didn’t get that it generated a complete link to the think that needed reviewing. I don’t know what I thought, actually.
    So all I have to do is insert `Link to recipe: [permalink] in the message body and it will work?

    Yup! I recommend trying out all the shortcodes for the notification you’re after and seeing which ones you need.
