Mailchimp and WooCommerce Subscriptions

    Hi, I installed your plugin today onto a client’s site which also has the official WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin installed on it. On activation, it triggered one-off payments for a large proportion of active subscriptions, which my client has now had to refund. I can see that this plugin has caused the payments to trigger because at the same time, there are a lot of scheduled actions which have been created by the MailChimp plugin, specifically to do with an ‘order import’ action. My guess is that this action has triggered subscriptions to be charged a one-off payment. There is obviously some sort of conflict between this plugin and the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin. Any ideas that you might have about why this is happening would be gratefully appreciated. Many thanks, Jonathan

    @jonathanrich this is super strange to hear that. Our plugin only queues up the orders to be pushed to Mailchimp – we’re not executing any sort of “create new order” function at all during the sync. The only thing we’re doing is loading the order, and passing that information to Mailchimp to be used for marketing purposes.

    I hope you have brought this up to the WooCommerce team that manages that plugin because it’s got to be something they would need to fix to prevent things like that from happening. Please let us know what’s going on when you do.

    I’m going to close this out just because this would need to be resolved on their end but I’ll bring this ticket up to them now for a reference and try to get to the bottom of it.

    @jonathanrich we reported this to the woo team just now and they said the best thing to do is to log into your account and go here to submit a ticket about this. You can bring up my name and this post so they can reference.

    They’ve also added this to the github issue tracker too.
