Mailchimp API Settings Shows STATUS: NOT CONNECTED

    Hi!

    I have been using your plugin for over 2 years now without any issue, but now I have the following error displayed:

    MailChimp returned the following error:
    Service Unavailable.

    MailChimp API Settings
    Status NOT CONNECTED

    I checked the following steps provided in solving the connectivity issues:
    1. The PHP curl version of the webhost is 7.19 and they say that it cannot be upgraded to 7.35!
    2. I am having issues running the curl command to check if remote access to Mailchimp is working. The hosting provider has not been very helpful in this matter. I am still trying to figure this out with them.
    3. I cannot get help from Mailchimp as it is a free account!!

    I am not sure how to proceed with this issue. Can you please help me understand why I am not able to connect to Mailchimp through this plugin?

  • Mine is a fresh install and I am having the same problem. Status NOT CONNECTED.
    I don’t think it’s a MailChimp issue because the command isn’t even reaching MailChimp. And it’s not a PHP curl version because the version is up to date.

    The last 3 digits were not copied because they were hidden.

    same problem here: NOT CONNECTED; 503 code, service not available,
    but the service IS AVAILABLE => service responded when tested using curl per mailchimp docs !!

    Hello,

    Please note that this issue is caused when there is a connection problem between your website & MailChimp.com. There is not much we can do from our end. I would recommend checking https://mc4wp.com/kb/solving-connectivity-issues/ for some steps on finding the cause of this issue.

    I’m marketing this ticket as resolved however if anyone else faces a similar issue please create a new topic instead of posting to the topic created by another user.
