MailChimp API Version 3 Ready?

  • I’m using your MailChimp Subscriber Chiclet for WordPress on one of my websites. It’s great. Thanks for offering it!

    I’ve heard from MailChimp that they are depricating API version 2, and any integrations will stop working December 31, 2016. They’re offering an API version 3 now.

    Does your plugin use their API, and — if so — will the plugin need updating by year end?

    Hi Michael, thanks for the question!

    I have already updated the plugin to use the MailChimp API v3 – you can see in the changelog that as of version 1.0.2 or higher, you should be good.

    I have not set 1.0.2 as the default version yet though – that is an oversight on my part and I will set that soon, at which time you should see a WordPress Update alert asking you to update.

    Bottom line: 1.0.2 should be available to you soon if you don’t have it already.
