mailchimp "email address:" form field

  • I have been searching for days and am at the end of my rope trying to figure this out.

    Our site is: https://illmannered.com

    I am trying to change the text “email address:” to read simply “email”.

    I know it is supposed to pull this data from mailchimp settings, and I have set them to read “email” and the website still reads as “email address:”.

    I also read that I am supposed to go into wordpress settings for the mailchimp widget, but the ONLY option in the settings is to add an API code, which I’ve already done. there are no other options.

    Someone PLEASE help me..
