After updating to 2.7 I’m getting the message below in admin:

Mailchimp for Woocommerce has not added the webhook to Mailchimp, visit the plugin settings page and synchronize your store.

I’ve been to the settings page, all seems OK and have re-synced as instructed.

My log shows:

2022-07-08T04:56:08+00:00 NOTICE action_scheduler.queue_job :: MailChimp_WooCommerce_WebHooks_Sync queued
2022-07-08T04:56:11+00:00 ERROR webhook ::
url: We couldn’t verify the URL is working. Please double check and try again. HTTP Code: 403

Any suggestions please?

H @thewebsmiths, either or should work. Just make sure to save the Audience if you go the route of deleting the option manually.

Hi @ryanhungate I’ve got the same issue. Have cleared all cache as suggested in this thread. Have uninstalled, reinstalled the plugin and set up all store/audience settings again and resynced. It is showing sync successful in the overview, but still getting the same error message in the WP dashboard (Mailchimp for Woocommerce has not added the webhook to Mailchimp, visit the plugin settings page and synchronize your store).

Any further suggestions, please?

Thanks

Alex

@thewebsmiths did you by chance get this to work using the outbound IP override? I noticed you had commented on someone else’s thread there as a solution.

Hi @ryanhungate
I think their issue was a different issue which has cropped up quite frequently so thought I’d assist.
I haven’t tried it for this problem as it seems like a different issue.
Are you suggesting to try it? Particularly in light of @scribo ‘s comment above where he’s uninstalled & reinstalled and still not resolved the issue.

@thewebsmiths we just wanted to check back with you to see if things have been resolved. We appreciate your patience while we worked on a few things to address the webhook problem you were experiencing. We’ve attempted to patch this in v2.7.1, which was released yesterday.

Let us know if you still need any help from here.

Thanks!

Hi @khungate
I’ve updated to 2.7.1 saved settings, Resynced Store (which took a couple of hours), deactivated & reactivated but still have the message:

Mailchimp for Woocommerce has not added the webhook to Mailchimp, visit the plugin settings page and synchronize your store.

@thewebsmiths if you could please enable the remote support we can fix this for you. Let me know when you’ve done that. ??

Hi @ryanhungate
I never turned it off ??
Much appreciated.

@thewebsmiths we couldn’t get the hook to validate yet. Actually has us scratching our head right now. Do you happen to see something in your wordfence logs that say it blocked it? We’ll get through this somehow but for whatever reason it’s being blocked while trying to verify the webhook being set up on your domain. :/

@ryanhungate
I put WordFence into learning mode and saved the settings in MailChimp for WooCommerce.
I then tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin while WordFence in learning mode but no change.
I didn’t try resyncing as that takes hours each time.

@thewebsmiths resyncing is not going to make a difference on this particular issue we’re facing. The problem is – for some reason your server is denying the Mailchimp webhook validation while trying to attach the webhook for subscribes/unsubscribes etc.

Actually at this point we don’t know the real reason and we’re trying to get to the bottom of it right now. This may be one of those scenarios where I will need to have admin access to your shop just to see if I can spot anything in particular that we just can’t figure out remotely.

If you’re ok with that – please send the invite to ryan (at) vextras.com and we’ll be on our way. ??

If you have a staging environment that would be best, but if not we can figure this out by adding logs here and there all over the plugin to see exactly what the problem is.

Hi @ryanhungate
More than happy to give you access.
I’ve added you as an administrator, hopefully you’ll have received a password reset email.
The site is a live site.

@thewebsmiths any chance you can enable the ability to edit plugins? I can’t do what I was trying to do unless I can edit ??
