MailChimp for WordPress as a Widget

Hi there,

I am using the plugin for a sidebar widget. The signup form is working – it takes the first name, surname and email address and adds the subsribers details, sends a confirmation email to the subsriber and adds them to my mailchimp subscriber list – which is great.
However it does not show the confirmation message on my website when the task is done. What I mean by this – when a person adds their details and clicks subscribe, the page refreshes but there is no message to say that the details have been received / or that a confirmation email will be sent to you etc.
Can you please help?
