I’m getting a comment on my email pop up form after adding the mailchimp API to the “Mailchimp for WordPress” plugin:

“Mailchimp for WordPress error: There is no form with ID 682, perhaps it was deleted”

I’ve made an API key in Mailchimp, added it to the Mailchimp for WordPress plugin. The plugin documentation says that the free version should take me straight to the forms page for the free version when I got to the plugin, but it doesn’t.

She shortcode you added to the popup has the incorrect form ID in it.

Under MC4WP > Form you can see the shortcode for your form with the correct ID number.

If that menu option is not bringing you to your MC4WP form please show me a full screen screenshot of what you do get to see there
You can upload a screenshot anywhere (eg imgur.com) and link to it here.

    Kind regards,

The only thing that shows on MC4WP is the API code, and the mailchimp account list. There is no forms or ability to go to forms…

    Hey @tfolsom1,

Do you see a “MC4WP > Form” menu in your WordPress admin?

Is there another way for me to be able to see my API for Mailchimp? A log or something on the backend through WordPress? I have used this API key for a couple plugins in WordPress, but now the key is blocking some of the characters.

To see your API key? You can see it in your Mailchimp account under your Account info > Extra > API keys.

You are no longer able to see the full API Key. They want you to create a new one and then update every plugin etc. that you previously used it for. I am trying to find out if there is another way to see the full API Key. Maybe through a log or something that I previously used the key for…?

I think that when you generate a new API key in Mailchimp the old keys still keep working as well unless you deactivate or delete them.

There is no way in our plugin to see the API key. You could try to pull it directly from your database by that’s out of scope for our support.
