    Hi.

Mailchimp randomly changes product prices when the plugin performs a scheduled sync.

Standard logging doesn’t show much, and neither does the Debug logging. However, support might find the logs more useful.

What is the best way to share these plugin logs that aren’t public?

I have had to deactivate the plugin to stop the behaviour temporarily.

    Kind regards,

    Simon

Hi there, The issue described, where the ‘Mailchimp for WooCommerce’ plugin appears to be changing product prices on sync, is indeed unusual. This behavior is not a typical function or side effect of the plugin. To address this issue, I recommend conducting a plugin and theme conflict resolution. This involves the following steps:

    1. Backup Your Site: Always start by ensuring you have a complete backup of your website. This is crucial for restoring your site in case anything goes wrong during the troubleshooting process.
    2. Update Everything: Make sure that WordPress, the WooCommerce plugin, Mailchimp for WooCommerce, and your theme are updated to their latest versions. This ensures that any known bugs are fixed.
    3. Deactivate Other Plugins: Temporarily deactivate all other plugins except for WooCommerce and Mailchimp for WooCommerce. This step is important to determine if there might be a conflict causing this unusual behavior.
    4. Switch to a Default Theme: Change your site’s theme to a default WordPress theme (such as Twenty Twenty-One). This helps to check if the issue might be related to your current theme.
    5. Test the Sync: After deactivating other plugins and switching the theme, perform a sync with Mailchimp. Observe if the issue with product prices still occurs.
    6. Reactivate Plugins and Theme: If the issue no longer occurs, reactivate your other plugins and theme one by one, testing the sync after each activation. This methodical approach helps to isolate the source of the conflict.
    7. Check Custom Code: If you have added any custom code or snippets to your site, review them to ensure they are not inadvertently affecting the plugin’s functionality.

Please let us know if you find anything when conducting these troubleshooting steps and report back.

    Hi, @khungate.

You’re correct, this is definitely not normal behaviour.

Unfortunately, those standard procedures aren’t going to work in this case as it is a live eCommerce website.

Even the remote diagnostics feature built into the plugin can’t be enabled now, so I requested to know where to send the plugin debug logs and WooCommerce logs safely and securely so that I can debug with the developers.

I have spoken with Mailchimp support directly (as I am a Partner), and I’m now working with the Dev team via Mailchimp on this issue.

Even though the ticket is not resolved, I will mark it resolved because support is handled outside of www.ads-software.com.

Once I get an update, I will post it here.

    Kind regards,

    Simon
