Enter your MailChimp API Key and let the plugin verify it:
    This is it
Mailchimp is getting worse and confusing— API services, DNS configurations and so on are more and more like coding knowledge… with trouble and timeconsuming nonsense

  • Hi @anant01,

Thanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble here, and I’d like to take a look and help out. In order to do so, could you please let us know the following information:
    – Could you please confirm that this message was displayed when inputting your API key?
    – What theme is currently installed on your site?
    – A link to your site
    – What other plugins are currently running on the site?

Thanks! That will allow us to try to replicate that environment to see if we are able to see the same error on our end. Sometimes theme or plugin conflicts can cause odd behavior.

    Sincerely,

    Pearl

    – Yes, Mailchimp WordPress Plugin and setup API-Key Code.

    – Themify is running with some basic plugins

but there is more to complain, as there is a brandnew account for the customer and many mailchimp things changed to getting confusing or not understandable for example the process of DNS for domain adjusting and so on.
Now after lost too much time we changed to a newsletter plugin.
Things worked better in the past, never had problems as today with mailchimp universe. Most of our customers don′t understand.
For example they never find where and how to edit signup forms and languages…

Yes, as soon as it works it works fine.

On top, every testmail did miss every image and no way to find out why the build in designer does not work like normal software.
    Worse

    Hi @anant01,

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like you’ve decided to go with an alternate plugin that works with your themes and plugins, but are still a bit frustrated about MailChimp in general. While this support forum is for plugin related questions and feedback exclusively, I’m sure the MailChimp support team would love to help you out with those other MailChimp specific concerns you mentioned. I recommend reaching out to that team directly using their contact form, as mentioned here: https://kb.mailchimp.com/accounts/management/mailchimp-support-options#Contact-Support

That being said, if you’d like us to answer any MailChimp List Subscribe plugin specific questions, please feel free to reply back here and we will help out as much as we can! The error like the one you were seeing earlier typically relates to a theme or plugin conflict, if that helps.

    Thanks!

    Pearl
