    Hi,

I searched the forums but didn’t see a solution for this issue. The pop-up is embedded and otherwise working properly, except that when you press on the “x” that is supposed to close it; it doesn’t close. This problem has been observed in Firefox on Win X and Safari on OSX.

Through Google I found that you can get out by hitting the “escape” key, but I don’t expect people to be able to intuit this.

Someone in a blog comment I found suggested the z-index might be an issue, in that something else might be layered on top of the popup.

I have temporarily turned off the plugin, since the site content is not accessible as long as the popup can’t be closed.

WordPress 5.0.4 running eleven40 Child Theme theme. Using Genesis 2.7.3. Embedded the plugin in site code, as instructed on Mailchimp documentation.

Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

The pop-up and the form is created using MailChimp.com.

Please note that we are not affiliated with MailChimp. We are a different company “Ibericode” that develops “MailChimp for WordPress” and a few other plugins. Since this issue is not related to our plugin, I would suggest contacting the support of MailChimp.com to assist you in fixing the issue.
