I asked mailpoet via my premium account and they said YES, it is possible because it is an SMTP tool. I’m going to try to set it up tomorrow, I’ll post my experience here.

I created a sendinblue account but haven’t gotten anywhere, wrote customer support saying I really want to use MailPoet to see what they say about how to do it.

I found this: https://resources.sendinblue.com/en/activate_smtp_account/ which I suspect is the first step to making them work together. Basically bypassing all the other stuff and just using SendinBlue for “Transactional” email.

SendinBlue wrote this: We regret to inform you that unfortunately as of now we don’t have direct integration with Mail Poet. I give up for now.

You don’t need any special integration, you just need to setup it’s SMTP details into MailPoet, however, if this does not work, talk to your host. They might be blocking your SMTP ports.

Hi and thanks for this information,
My client finally bought your plugin and a micro subscription at sendinblue. The problem is that their smtp account is blocked to 40 emails per hour after activation, to unlock it he must take a dedicated IP. Is it a problem for the use of the plugin and do i have to configure the dedicated Ip as explain here : https://resources.sendinblue.com/en/delegation-of-your-sub-domain-on-ovh-com/
    Thanks for the answer.

I was able to finally find the SMTP settings, because I didn’t create a campaign or upload contacts I had just the “Create a Campaign” screen, but if you scroll down (I didn’t notice before) you can click on “My Transactional Emails” and get the information for SMTP

According to the guide at Sendinblue (here), You must initially have to buy a dedicated IP which cost $145/year in order to use Sendinblue to send your Mailpoet newsletter.

Sendgrid did not accept my free sign up. Any suggestion for alternative third party email sender, MailPoet?
