Mailpoet error – Oops! There is a problem with this form

  • Hello,

    I see that the other topic is mark as resolved, but it still applies to my website. So you can delete this if you think is a double record.

    The users get this message when trying to subscribe in mailpoet form:

    Oops! There is a problem with this form:
    textStatus:error
    errorThrown:Forbidden
    responseText:
    Forbidden

    You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php on this server.

    Please tell me what can I do?

    Thanks for your help,

    I added an exception with the id (taken from the error_log) to the firewall and works great!

    I think there isn’t any problem more.

    Are you willing to fix this issue in a future update of Mailpoet?

    Hi! I’m having excactly the same problem and error message on the subscription form. When I’m logged as administrator it doesn’t happen. I’ve deactivated all the plugins (including iTheme Security) and the problem persists. I’ve tried other things I’ve read in different threads like set the memory limit to 128M but nothing changes. I’ve updated worpdress and all the plugins to the latests versions without result either.

    Any idea?

    Hi,

    I added a htpasswd file in wp-admin folder.

    Since this, the subscription to the newsletter no longer works because it does not access to wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

    This is really annoying because my users can no longer register. Do you have a solution?
