    Hello there MailPoet

MailPoet has suddenly stopped sending. I have then tried to set up a Cron-job as described in the support section, but nothing happens.

Yesterday I asked my host about another job that was not running, and the advised me to do this: “define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, ‘true’);?” in wp-config.php and set up a cron-job instead: “/usr/local/bin/php -q /home/USERNAME/public_html/wp-cron.php >/dev/null 2>&1?”

Do these things have something to do with each other?

    Please help me.

    Kind regards,
    Hanne B. Stegemüller

Hi does this cron job look correct:

Why do I need /home/USERNAME/public_html/ two times?

    php /home/USERNAME/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/mailpoet-cron.php /home/USERNAME/public_html/ >/dev/null 2>&1

    Kind regards,
    Hanne

    Hi @stegemueller,

Thank you for all the information.

I’m checking your account and I see the MailPoet Sending Service has been paused for you due to a high number of hard bounces.

You’re sending multiple emails to an email address that has previously bounced. It’s p***@stegemueller.dk.

Please remove this email from your lists and settings and let us know so we can restore the sending for you.

    Thank you!

    Hi Bruna

    Thanks for you kind reply!

p***@stegemueller.dk. is myself and you are perfectly right – for some strange reason I was suddenly bounced. I do not understand why.

I have now corrected this, and I have checked whether there is something in the que, but the que is still empty.

I have tried to change some settings about sending methods, and for that reason I hereby send you the actual settings:
