• After I’ve upgraded this plugin everything seemed to work properly, but when I click on my SUBSCRIBE button, nothing happens anymore and I’m loosing new subscribers.

I can see the ajax request start from the browser with no effect. I tried also to disable showing popup by selecting no pages where to display, but it’s still there! I can’t remove this plugin anymore. Even if I deactivate, it’s still working.

I’ve emptied the cache, and it’s till there the not-working pop-up. I completely removed the plugin but the pages now have 404 errors because they are looking for js/script.js file that is not anymore.

Please could you help me on this? Or at least how can I completely remove your plugin?

    Thanks.

I’ve created a test page and set that page to show it up and now at least is disappeared. Any chance to get it working back like before?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

If plugin is shown even after deactivation, then it’s sign that you must use some third party caching (“web speed up”) mechanism what causes this effect. By plugin deactivation actually all plugin functionality will be gone. Using such cache is risky. In this case usually time will resolve that.

Plugins can be deleted from WP-admin Plugins menu. Just deleting the files from /wp-content/plugins is bad idea.

If you use subscription form provided bu some other plugin, then maybe you must empty the “receiver e-mail” field from Scrollbox. This indicates to scrollbox plugin that that some other plugin form is used and Scrollbox plugin will not attempt to make the submit itself.

Can you give me link to your page so I could take a look?

Clearing receiver e-mail did the job! Thanks!

The only problem is the feedback after “SUBSCRIBE” button. I didn’t see the ok message anymore, but rather seems it reload the page, and the popup appears again.

However the email is sent now.

Is there any chance to hack the plugin to don’t execute a refresh of the page?

    Thanks in advance,
    Luca

You use some third party submission form? Which one exactly?
I have used “Contact Form 7” together with my plugin and then it worked flawlessly.

Added later: sry, I see you mentioned MailPoet in thread subject. I will look it over.
