MailPoet Plugin DISAPPEARED after Update

    A strange thing happened few minutes ago, I was updating the MailPoet plugin and it was taking awfully long to just finish. I was patient enough to wait, but after 5-6 minutes, I decided to refresh and it showed me the “maintenance mode” page.

    I waited a further 4 minutes to refresh and it came back, I went to my dashboard and just realised that MailPoet had disappeared. I clicked on Plugins to see if it was there and There was an error message ( ERROR MESSAGE )

    I went on to search for it on Plugins and attempted to re-install it, and I got another message ( ERROR MESSAGE )

    PLEASE HELP!!! :/

    It is sorted out now.

    If it happens to anyone, the Solution is :

    Upon checking the plugin directory of your website, the index.php of plugin “wysija-newsletters” is deleted during plugin update. Just rename the “wysija-newsletters” plugin directory. Try reinstall the plugin and all should be well.

    That might be related to a security measure from your host/server.
