    Hello,

my WordPress backend shows me, that updated translations for MailPoet Premium are available. When I am performing the update, I am getting a message, that it has been successful. But after that, the update message is shown again in the admin backend.

The MailPoet Premium mo and po files are from March 23 /24, so they seem to be up-to-date.

How can I get rid of this continuous update message?

Thank you very much for any help!

  • Same here. I’m located in Germany, too. Might be a glitch with the german translation.

Seems to be a problem with the formal language files only. The standard language files on another site are working just fine.

Thank you, cutu234, for the confirmation of this error.

I am observing the same: the problem is rooted in the german formal language translation. I have been observing these problems with MailPoet frequently in the past. Therefore I deleted the formal german language files and am now sticking to the default option german informal.

Mailpoet support team, anyone? This is a super annoying issue, and we would really appreciate some input here. I would change the version number manually, but I simply cannot find it anywhere in the translation files.

OK, I tried to find the value in the database. No luck either. I could find and replace the serialized data, but it didn’t change anything. Absolutely annoying, since this is a premium plugin.

    Hi there @cutu234 and @regenpfeifer ????!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

So one of my colleagues was able to replicate this issue with the DE_Formal translation in the premium plugin.

We have already notified our developers and they are working on a fix for this issue.

I will post back here as soon as we have fixed this, thanks for your patience.

    Cheers!

The fix has been released so can you please ensure that your translation files are up-to-date?
