I hope you are doing well,

Thanks for such a great plugin.

    I have a problem and a Question.

Can I send MailPoet’s emails using Post SMTP. (Reason is defined below).

MailPoet manual SMTP configuration ain’t working, credentials are correct when sending test email it’s returning “The email could not be sent: SMTP Error: The following recipients failed: [email protected]: Administrative prohibition.

    Hi @smusman98,

Can I send MailPoet’s emails using?Post SMTP. (Reason is defined below).

    Unfortunately, that’s not possible.

I’ve searched for this error and I found it could be related to any of the following:

    • The domain used by your SMTP server is on Real-time blacklists.
    • The recipient uses a domain that is on Real-time blacklists.
    • The SMTP server has a dynamic IP address.

You can check whether yours or the recipient domain has been blacklisted?here.

It could also be that you’re using a FROM email address in MailPoet that would need to be verified/authorized in your service provider’s settings. In this case, we would recommend contacting your sending provider and asking for assistance.

I hope it helps. Please let us know how it goes.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
