MailPoet Sync (Manual or Automated)?

  • In this post, the plugin author claims:

    “With MailPoet integration, you can sync (one-way) your MailPoet subscribers to Jetpack CRM contacts. Then you can?export (manually) a Jetpack CRM segment to a MailPoet list.”

    Notice he says segments must be manually exported.

    The MailPoet Sync Page within the plugin uses this language:

    MailPoet Sync has imported all existing subscribers and will continue to import future subscribers.

    MailPoet Sync

    This latter statement implies that you sync it once and it will sync regularly in an ongoing effort.

    Which implication of use is true: Ongoing manual syncing / “Turn on once” Automated ongoing syncing?
