    Hi,

I have a question about using a different media library.
I have installed Mailpoet 3 and it works fine
However I also have installed a plugin “Media Library Folders Pro”
If I want to add an image to a newsletter, it takes the original WordPress Media handler. Is it possible to change the standard Media Handler to this better plugin “Media Library Folders Pro” ??
This plugin allows a better handling of large amounts of images
    Thanks for your help,

Ps I have asked the developer of Media Library Folders, also why this plugin is not active when adding an image

  • Hi Peter,

As far as we’re aware this should work, as we use the standard media library and make no modifications. Do you have any information from the media library about how the plugin integrates with others?

    Thanks!

    Hi

The plugin shows a toolbar, that allows to select folders.
Could you contact Alan Pasho from maxfoundry.com
He is the provider if the plugin.

Hi I spoke to Alan Pasho again about this issue.
He indicated again that they use the WorPress method to hook in the plugin.
Now if I add an image through MailPoet I get a very simple Media screen.
The toolbar of Media Library folders is not shown !
No errors are written in the debug folder!
I can send you images of the expectation, but than you need to provide me an email adres I can sent it to.
    Thanks for your help

    Hi

I have additional information about this issue.
If I use the debugger, and start other programs the media-library plugin is shown in the active plugin list !!!
As soon as I start MailPoet 3 than the list of active plugins is almost empty!!
So it is not true that you run the program in a standard way.
How can we make sure that the media Library folders plugin stays active??
The stylesheet from this plugin are loaded.
    Thanks for your help,
    Peter
