mailpoet with integrated sengrid wont send

I have used sengrid for my newsletters a couple of times now. and it worked fine. Since we integrated the SSL certificate (well i think that must have been about the same time) emails simply dont get send anymore. If I choose any port, I get:

and when I activate the API, wordpress/mailpoet tells me the email got sent but it never arrives anywhere.
I have tried all different ports and ticking and un ticking all the boxes, haha, sorry this is all very new to me, but nothing seems to help.
Any Ideas?
