    Good morning

I’m developing a site with WPML for English and French.
I also installed MailPoet 4.44.0 and I know it doesn’t accept multilingual… it’s not nice, and you’re not performing on this… But I could also accept it.

The really bad and annoying thing is that with MailPoet active I can’t manage the site menu in the second language (French): everything is blocked. MailPoet breaks everything and this warning appears on the menu management page:

Warning: Undefined array key 0 in /home/customer/www/domain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/inc/wp-nav-menus/class-wpml-nav-menu.php on line 566
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/customer/www/domain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/inc/wp-nav-menus/class-wpml-nav-menu.php:566) in /home/customer/www/domain.com/public_html/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 1431

Is there a way to avoid this interference of MailPoet with the management of the site menu? Obviously, I’ll throw MailPoet in the trash for this multilingual site if the solution isn’t there.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thank you for providing this information. It’s worth noting that this issue might be related to WPML. A similar error was reported by someone else on the WPML forums. You can find the discussion here: WPML Forum – Warning: Cannot Modify Header Information

It would be worth checking this with the WPML team to see if they can provide guidance or assistance in resolving this issue. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask.

Certainly the problem is related to WPML, because MailPoet has never worried about the compatibility of its plugin with WPML, as other theme and plugin developers have done. The flaw is not on the WPML side, but on the MailPoet side.
In fact, MailPoet is NOT present among the compatible plugins on WPML.
I would say that today this is a serious shortcoming of MailPoet, also considering that it has a professional version with payment plans that are not exactly low-priced.
    Thanks anyway.

    Hello again @gdm57,

Thank you for getting back to us.

MailPoet doesn’t directly support qTranslate, WPML, or Polylang so the compatibility issues you’re experiencing is expected.

It’s not on our roadmap now, but you’re welcome to add it as a suggestion here https://feedback.mailpoet.com

Our team will take it into account when discussing new features and improvements for the plugin ??

    MailPoet works pretty?well with?MultilingualPress?or?WeGlot?otherwise.

    Thank you!
