mailpress sending

    i AM using mailpress;
    I have a large mailing list, and it seems to send (using sendmail) but how can I be sure? It seems to be sent, but I think that after passing to the sendmail program, the log files don’t have anything.
    Can I request the email client to send a ‘read flag’ or something like that?
    Is sendmail really the best, or should I use SMTP or phpmail? What would you suggest?
