Hi, no it isn’t resolved – but I posted the same question under another post section in this forum.

but I posted the same question under another post section in this forum.

That’s bad manner and I will delete the double post.

Now, first explain, what did you do that your main/index page (example.com/blog) comes up empty? And why?

OK and thanks for that Moshu.

Yes, the main page is https://www.focusonedesign.ca/blog – but when I created the left hand side links – I used the NAVT List plug in – and see MAIN there.

This was created by writing a Page. Now How do I get that Page ID (for Main) to be the re-directed or linked to the main home page, which is focusonedesign.ca/blog?

    So, I want this page – https://www.focusonedesign.ca/blog/?page_id=119
    re-directed to this page – https://www.focusonedesign.ca/blog

Hope this makes sense, any help greatly appreciated.

Forget that page for a moment and read again my question, please!

WHY there is nothing on your main page?
What did you do to end up like that?

I’m really not sure why there is nothing on the https://www.focusonedesign.ca/blog page.; like I said I would like to have the page id 119 re-directed or become THIS page.

    Page 119 – is to be focusonedesign.ca/blog

The main page that you currently see, I believe is a POST. But the Page ID 119 is supposed to be the Main page.

    Does that help?

Does any one know how to do this???

I want my Main Page ID # 119 to be redirected to the Home Page.

Your home page gives a “page not found”.

Deactivate the NAVT list plugin, and see if all goes back to normal.

It looks like all your pages and categories are listed as page ID, and not the name of the page.

After saving the pages, did you publish them?

Also, go to Settings –> Permalinks and customize the structure

If you see the “home” page again, after deactivating the plugin, then in your theme’s folder, open header.php and where the menu tabs are listed under <ul><li>, there will be something similar to { ?>current_page_item<?php } else { ?>page_item<?php } ?>"><a title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>" href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>">Home</a>.

Just change Home to Main, and your regular home page will be called “Main”.

Then, delete the “main” page you created.

    Hope this helps!
