My site (https://www.smittenkitchen.com), based on heavily-tweaked Orchid template is rendering the main column paragraph text too narrow – indenting it from the right by maybe 150 px. I can’t figure out on the stylesheet where I’ve gone wrong. (FWIW, the XHTML and CSS validate.)

It’s only happening in Firefox; IE is typically oblivious to whatever I’ve done wrong.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks so much.

  • For what it’s worth, it looks fine in Firefox for me (version 1.5.0.4).

    Nice site by the way!

Looks fine for me as well, text is as wide as the images and that looks right to me. At least in FF 2.0b (I’ve thrown out 1.5, but I checked it in Seamonkey which should render the page about the same, and same thing there). Try hitting ctrl+F5 to see if you have something old and bas that needs to be cleared from the cache?

Oh, and I agree with mjwood on the site. Makes me hungry. ??

Looks ok in FF 1.5.0.4 and IE6 from here…

    PS Should be marked NSFH!

    Thanks for all the feedback!

I realized I was running an older version of Firefox and when I upgraded just now – viola! All fixed.

    Thanks again.
