main container not flowing down to height of containing divs ?

    anyone got any idea why this main container isnt flowing down to the height of iots content??

    i have 2 floating divs and after them i added
    <div style=”clear:both;”> </div>

    just before the closing div tag of the main content div and it doesnt seem to fix it

    any ideas?
