Main homepage is not in the primary language

In Settings > Languages > Settings: Default language.

Ok, so I have Deutsch chosen as the default language, but when I want to edit the homepage, and I click to edit the German Version, it is not the main URL, but rather makes it

https://www.url.com/home-2

Which Url do you want obtain for your German home page?

I want for the German page

https://www.url.com

for the English page

https://www.url.com/en

I have all the other pages setup so that is is

https://www.url.com/german-page-title

https://www.url.com/english-page-title

Go in the Polylang settings then check ” Hide URL language information for default language” and “The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id”.
