Main image not changing unless a default size selected?

  • It seems that to get the main image to change when a swatch is selected, I had to set a default size on the product listing.

    I understand there may be a reason for this, however when a colour variation is set to apply to ALL sizes, and so the same image is used for all sizes, it’d be good for the swatches plugin to show the image before a size is selected (as by nature of setting 1 image to apply for ALL sizes in the variations section, it’s going to be the correct image!).

    I’d rather NOT set a default size as it’s better to force the user to select a size, to ensure they don’t miss the option/setting.

    What can be done about this?
