Main Menu Applying Different Items Than Those Selected

  • Please help! We tried setting up a second WordPress on a webhost. The first (main) site was installed across the root of the hosts public_html/ directory. The second site installed into a sub-directory, and I believe that it changed some of the settings that pertained to the first site. I checked the config for each, and they were pointed to the correct databases. We completely removed the second install.. and are looking into another host to set it up. Anyhow, everything seems to be okay, except for our menu system.

    When we try to set up a Main Menu, after applying certain menu items, the menu will pull different menu items than those the were chosen. How could this be? We never set a menu up on the second install, we only uploaded a theme and applied the theme.. then after issues, we deleted the second install completely. What could be going on to make the original install’s menu act up like this??

    Does anyone have any ideas of what could be going on?
