I mean in the menu bar

My menu bar is currently on my site but I can’t seem to add more categories – strange?

For instance I want to add a contact us to the top menu and it’s not allowing me to save it.

First of all, is your wp install up to date ?
If it is not, then update and try again.
If it does not work, few things you could try to help to understand the issue :
– Disable all plugins and try again.
– Change back to twenty eleven theme and try again
– Try to create a new menu.
– Try to rename a menu element.

Okay I’ve tried all except changing back to twenty eleven theme (nothing worked – same issue) – how do I do this?

To change back to defualt wordpress theme, just select it in the Themes menu.
But I am not sure it could really be a theme issue, since you have the problem in the admin section. Try it anyway.

Try also to check file permissions on your server.

At last, you can replace your wp install by a new one except for the wp_content folder (containing your plugins, images and theme).

I just tried changing back to twenty eleven and that did not work either.

I’ve added a new menu and it seems to stop working once I have almost all the elements added. Is there a max allowance?

This just started this week. I’ve had no issues up until now.

I don’t think there is a max to the menu elements. Somenone can confirm ?
If you want to bypass the issue, you can try wp_menubar. It is a great plugin, very customizable and useful to implement complex menus.

Hello, I’ve tried themes twenty ten and eleven and it works fine. I’m thinking it’s the theme.

I will take your advice and use the wp-menubar plug in and hopefully I can get it to work.

There is no “Max navigation elements”. In theory you should be able to add as much as you want. You would just have to ask yourself if it’s userfriendly and functional.

It looks like you’re using a premium template from https://themify.me/ , you should contact them for support as their theme may have a bug.
