Main menu bar located UNDER the header image

Hi, I cannot seem to figure out why the main menu bar of my site is located under the header image and not on top like on the demo version of the Frau theme? Can you please help me to move it on top of he header image? Also, the main menu bar is not the length of the image but the width is much larger so it covers the full screen. Could you tell me how to shorten the width of the menu bar, please? Sorry, Im a beginner and would love some help with it ?? Many thanks!
