I love the theme, but have found a slight problem.

When I mouse over the built-in WordPress menus, like My Sites, or +New, part of the Modern main menu theme style is getting applied to the WordPress menus. The first two or so options are darker than the rest, as if the WordPress menu is getting nested under the theme main menu. The options that are darker also cannot be selected, and the WordPress menu will disappear if you mouse of them.

  • Hi,

The issue you describe seems to be CSS z-index related, however, I do not get the issue when the WordPress native admin bar is displayed (when I’m logged in).

Is the admin bar for your website still on (even when you are not logged in)? If so, can you please provide the URL to your website so I can check personally?

    Regards,

    Oliver

    Thanks for your prompt response.

We are using the native admin bar (4.1.1), and default Modern theme. We have played around with the z-indexes already, and it just causes the Modern menu bar fall behind the page content.

I cannot give you my site info, but here is a screenshot:

    Hi,

I’m sorry but I can not determine what’s wrong from a screenshot.

Here is the screenshot to prove it works correctly: https://awesomescreenshot.com/0d54pf2z66

Have you tried to disable your plugins to see if some of them may actually cause the issue?

    Regards,

    Oliver
