Main Menu Current Menu/Page Item Highlight

Hi there,

first of all, thanks a lot for the great plugin. Being able to create a child theme and making easy customisations like that is great!

I am missing the option however, to set the highlight color for the .current-menu-item / .current_page_item of the main menu. The default color is #767676 and is overwritten somehow by the plugin.

I tried custom CSS, but can only change the menu item background, not the color of the font. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
