    Hi,

If you look at the main menu, on the homepage, you can see the wiki menu option. It then has some default text “A Wiki custom post type” directly underneath the ‘wiki’ menu. How do I remove this text please?

    Many thanks,
    James

    Hi James,

I’m guessing you can remove that by going to Admin / Appearance/ Menus and editing the menu item for the wiki. Here is a screenshot. I hope this helps.

    Hi,

thanks for coming back to me so quickly – as you’ve probably guessed I’m new to WordPress. However, I don’t seem to have the description box to amend it, when I look at the menu options, in the admin screen. Please see attached screenshot!

FYI, I’m using the latest version of WP.

    Hi James,

No worries. In the upper right corner of that menu page there is a little tab. If you click on it then it shows some options of which features to show. If you check the Description box then it should show.
