• Hi, can someone please help me? I want my main blog page to display summaries instead of full text, but despite selecting Summary under Reading it’s not changing. Is it something in the code for my theme? I’m using iNove 1.4.6. If it could be can you tell me where to look and what to look for, as well as how to edit the code? I’m not a PHP expert.

  • Hi, the Summmary thing is for your RSS feed.

Are you really looking for something like the <!--more--> tag?

You can insert it into posts (there’s a button in the post editor). When you use it, WordPress wil show a ‘read more…’ break in the post, so you can just have the first part on your front page, and the full text on the post page.
