Main page works fine but all sub pages and blogs are blank

  • I checked all httpd.conf files and restored them to their default settings. Some how they had gotten switched. Now the main page will work, but the sub links will not display.

  • This just happened to me. Everything was working fine and the POOF! All of my subpages were leading to 404 errors.

    I fixed it by updating my permalink structure. Have you tried that?

    Permalinks was my first thought, too. Update the permalink structure (which updates the .htaccess) and all should be good.

    It was the permalinks. Thanks for the help. I previously got a 404 error also Jinxi. I looked at my httpd folder and restored the site conf file to default and also the httpd.conf file to default settings. I was fortunate to have a restore drive with all backups of the main OS.

    It seems to work fine when it is on the default scheme, but if I try to change to any other different scheme it displays a blank screen.

    Figured out my own problem. I just have to change the .htaccess file which is given below when I change the permalink. I just didn’t read far enough.
