Main product image does not appear in image gallery

    Hello – I am just noticing that the when viewing a product detail page the main product image does not appear as a thumbnail image and it also does not display in the pop-over gallery. So you can see the main image when you first load the page but once you click another thumbnail you have no way of getting that main image back. Also, if you click on the main image to view a larger image – the picture that displays is the second image. If a product only has ONE image that image will not display if clicked on to view a larger image. Do you have any idea why? I am using the popular Jupiter theme. All plugins are up to date.

    Also – do you have any plans on adding a onhover image (like a magnifyer or something) to enhance the look and affect of your main product image area?

    Hi,

    Did you visit WooCommerce > SVI for the options? it includes a magnifier…
    Did you upgrade recently? Reset all the options on the page I just stated above.

    I dont recall having none of those issues.

    Thanks for the very quick reply David!
    I am using – SMART VARIATIONS IMAGES 3.1.8.11
    And I just hit the “Reset Section” button. Which also de-actiavted SVI. So I then activated. This did not resolve the problems I mentioned.

    (main image displays initially but after you click on other thumbs. Click on main image and second image displays instead).

    The Magnifyer you are referring to is the hover magnifier. That is different than what I was asking about actually. I like the clickable image that opens the pop-over gallery with thumbnails. But when you hover over the main image – the cursor change to a hand – but it isn’t overtly clear that by clicking the main image a larger image will display. So a lot of themes use a PLUS sign or a magnifying glass icon to help you realize that a bigger image is available to view by clicking on the main picture.

    I think I will have to redoo some steps… will release an update soon, probably next week with some fixes.

    I dont include the main image back… that is true.

    Just checking David if you are close to releasing that update soon (that will hopefully resolve this issue). My site needs to go live soon.

    Since I am as well having this issue (main product image not appearing in image gallery), I was wondering if you have any update on if this has been or will be fixed?

    This has been solved as much as i know… If this happening please, setup the product here https://svi.rosendo.pt/free/ so that I can see and test.

    PLease call your product “ANDERS” so that i can identify
