Main score and leg score

  • Hi there,

    I’m wondering whether it is possible to use this to show the scores from individual legs of the game as well as the score as a whole. Our league is a similar format to tennis, there are 5 legs for each match, and a separate score for each leg.

    Would it be possible to show the overall score (1-0, 2-0 etc) as well as the leg score beneath it?

    Hi @nottinghambilliards, are you talking about showing the live results? Since this plugin is just an extension for SportsPress, if SportsPress shows it through their main results, this plugin should also hook on that and show live results if there are any.

    So, on my results page, it shows the final result as for example

    F   F1    F2    F3    F4    F5
2  1570  1600  2380  1470    0
3  1610     0  1330  2080  3150

    What I’d like to do is during each leg, show the overall match score, and the score for the current leg. So it might look like this:

      500 - 480
    1 - 0
     10'

    Hi @nottinghambilliards, does SportsPress allow the display of such results? I am not aware of such option.

    If it does, could you point me out on the settings to achieve it so I can reproduce it locally and then develop on top of it. I am using their main_results function to get them, so if they do allow it to display it like this, I could maybe have a way to display the live scores as well.

    @ibenic the individual scores are custom results fields that I have set up. I did find a way to do what I needed anyway, but manually instead of automatically. In the score box, I can just type in “500 (1” and “0) 480” to do what I need.
