maintain original url in address bar

    Good afternoon,

    This is a great plugin, but I’m just wondering if it’s possible to keep the original url in the address bar upon redirecting to the most recent post?

    For example:
    if /events/weekend/ redirects to /events/weekend/nov8th, is there a way to have the address bar still read /events/weekend instead of showing the second web address?

    Unfortunately the plugin cannot do it natively.

    I think that it might work using JavaScript that runs in the browser after loading the page and changes the URL. The JavaScript snippet could detect redirected URLs by searching for a pass-through parameter.

    I don’t think that it will work on the server level because you would have two different page contents for the same URL /events/weekend and the server would not know which content to serve.
