I have a large table with links to images. The idea is to use the table to allow search of particular content and then link to that content. So if the table search gives (say) 20 results, when a user chooses a link the view the content, when they return to the table via normal browser back function, the whole of the table is displayed again and the search has to be repeated for the other 19.

Is it possible to maintain the search criteria when they return to the table?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

I’m not really sure why this is not working out of the box on your table (as the Search term seems to be kept, it’s just not being applied anymore)… It could be some interference by another plugin that uses the same JavaScript library that TablePress uses, but I’m not sure.

You could try enabling a special “state saving” mode that TablePress offers. For that, please add this to the “Custom Commands” text field on the table’s “Edit” screen:

    stateSave: true

    Regards,
    Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress in the plugin directory. Thanks!
