Regards: Maintenance mode active on new domain extension. As an administrator I can’t bypass it when previewing pages.

Explanation: I recently moved my website to a new domain extension, including all active plug-ins. I use Lightstart for the maintenance mode, but it is now blocking my website on the new domain extension. Ofcourse the log-in page is still excluded, however when I want to preview my published pages as an administrator, it conjures up the maintenance page each time. I can’t find the right settings-options in the plug-in dashboard page.

What to do? Do I need to deactivate, uninstall and reinstall the plug-in to make it work correct for the new domain? Or is there something else I can do as a non-coder?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @changeagent4,

    Thanks for choosing Lightstart!

Please try to reinstall the plugin on the new domain and check if it helps solve the issue.

    Thank you!

Hi @luciamarinescu, thanks for the response. The issue had already been resolved automatically, it had to do with the time needed to transfer all the correct data. I just needed to be more patient. But thanks, I think this would have resolved the issue if I needed to do so.

I’m glad to hear the issue was fixed in the meantime. Thanks for letting us know!
