maintentance mode plugin not working after upgrade to 2.2

make sure you are using the current version.

I downloaded a copy from here:

it works just fine on a 2.2 install:

Make sure after activating the plugin that you have visited the options page for it, and updated the options.

Problem solved … all I did was go into the options of the plugin and press UPDATE options … after that it works again … Weird though …
