    Hello,

I created a subscriber profile and logged in to test something. When logged in, the MainWP bar is at the bottom and says, “Currently managing 6 child sites with MainWP 2.0.21 version.” with the icons on the right. Subscribers shouldn’t see that bar down there. Is there a way to get rid of that?

That bar only shows on your MainWP Dashboard site, not the MainWP Child sites.

I’ll look into why it is showing for non-admins but you should NOT allow subscribers to access your MainWP Dashboard site.

In addition we HIGHLY recommend a NEW WordPress install for your MainWP Dashboard. Using a new WordPress install will help to cut down on Plugin Conflicts and other issues that can be caused by trying to run your MainWP Main Dashboard from an active site. Most hosting companies provide free subdomains (“demo.yourdomain.com”) and we recommend creating one if you do not have a specific dedicated domain to run your MainWP Dashboard.

If you are not sure how to set up a subdomain, contact your hosting companies support.

Ok, I understand. You are saying set up a dedicated area for MainWP management only. But… I would still think that if a Subscriber was set up – they shouldn’t see that MainWP toolbar in the footer. I will move this over to a subdomain.

I agree and I’ll look into it. However, if you are afraid a subscriber will be set up I would recommend the free Clean and Lock Extension to help lock your Dashboard down.

This was resolved in MainWP Dashboard version 2.0.22
