    Thanks alot, Ive just replied on your ticket

    thanks for the thorough support on this major update. I actually read the support FAQ! Found the answers to a couple of issues such as the shortcode appearing instead of the menu.
    I still cant seem to get the styling right. I have a live and staging site. I compared various settings and made changes but can not get the staging site which has the new version of the plugin to look like the old one. Any tips.
    Old version of plugin on live site https://babasouk.ca/
    New version on staging site https://stephanieh57.staging.wpengine.com/

    Issues
    text menu does not appear on button
    hamburger looks wrong, curved line ends
    button moves out with menu but disconnected
    on mouseover of top level menu items background of arrows is disconnected from text area background and also wrong height.

    Not sure that these are bugs at all, just can’t seem to get the right combination of settings. Happy to supply logins

    Hi there,

    Ive had a look and I can see that the styling is close it just needs a few tweaks.

    I would say that you just have a few things to look at summarised below:

    1. I can see the menu text but its a little bit further down, play with the menu height and title line height settings.

    2. For the rounded corners please add this to a custom CSS file:
    .responsive-menu-inner,
    .responsive-menu-inner:before,
    .responsive-menu-inner:after {
    border-radius: 0 !important;
    }

    3. Look at the sub-arrow toggle border colours and heights to sort out the sub arrow height issue.

    4. The button seems to move quite well for me – whatbrowser are you using?

    I hope the above helps put you in the right direction!

    All the best

    After updating the hamburger no longer appears. Perhaps you could have come out with a new plugin instead radically changing this one. I did not want to have to spent time figuring out what is wrong with the new version so I rolled back to an earlier version and now the thumb appears.

    Hi Alan,

    Its not so drastic an update, Id say 90% is the same and Im sure its an easy fix (easier than rolling back even).

    Bringing out a whole different plugin would have not made much sense as it does exactly the same thing now as it did then – theres a few styling and element name changes but nothing too far beyond that.

    As a site owner (especially of a self hosted solution) you should expect to have to debug from time to time, Im afraid its part of the territory. WordPress offers managed hosting solutions for those that don’t want to do it but you of course lose the flexibility.

    If you are willing to give it another try let me know when its installed and provide a URL and I will take a look for you.

    Make sure to hit Update Options once more once updated and clear any caches you have.

    All the best
