I just installed the new beta Woocommerce Admin plugin, and was really excited to see the new reporting functionality. However, I’m experiencing a big issue. It seems there was an error when populating/syncing up the database.

    1) Not all of my orders are showing in the new plugin (they are still showing in Woocommerce.) For example, of 13 completed orders in May, only 3 are showing in the Admin/Analytics plugin. There doesn’t seem to be anything specific about why certain orders are showing and some are not.

    2) As I pull different reports, I eventually get an error that says “There was an error getting your stats. Please try again.” There doesn’t seem to be a particular report where this happens – it’s just after a few minutes of clicking on different options.

    3) When I click on “reload” my wp-admin dashboard disappears completely, and I get a white screen with an error message: “Error establishing a database connection. This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.” When I log back into my wordpress dashboard, everything within the Woocommerce plugin still works fine (so I don’t believe there’s an issue with my server) – it is only the new/beta Woocommerce Admin plugin that is experiencing the errors.

I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, and that did not help. I then tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it, and that did not help – it didn’t ask me to sync again (as I was hoping). I am using up to date Woocommerce Version 3.6.4.

@rebeccaolson thanks for testing and reporting your experience!

We made some improvements to our import tool in the last version (and more to come in the next version!), could you try updating the plugin and importing all customers and orders again?

It’s hard to say, but those two issues could be related to database overload. We made several improvements in that direction in the last version too, so I would suggest trying if WooCommerce Admin 0.13.2 (the last version we published yesterday) works better for you.

I will proceed closing this issue for now. If you still encounter the same issues with the last version of WooCommerce Admin, feel free to re-open it.

    Albert – Thank you!

    1. After updating, I was still experiencing the same issue. However, in the update report I saw that it was supposed to fix an error when the “Skip previously imported customers and orders” was checked. I went back and saw that this box was checked for me, so I unchecked it. The system then allowed me to re-sync the database, and that caught all the missing orders. Just wanted to give that update for you and/or anyone else who experiences this issue.

2 & 3. I haven’t received any other database error messages or experienced any other issues since the update, so hopefully this is all resolved. I’ll let you know if I do!

    Thanks for your help,
    Rebecca

I am with the same problem, I am using the version 0.20.1, I believe this plugin is with conflit with the JetPack Plugin, when I am desactivate the JetPack plugin, the Woocommerce Panel works, but when I Active the JetPack and click in Woocommerce Panel, the server go downfor aproximadally 5 min – 7 min.

I liked this Plugin, I really wish that this problem fix, but while this problem don’t fix, I will mantein this plugin desactived, because I can’t risk my server go down.
