Major Issue with Plugin.

    Hi, ..

    Just got the white screen of death, and very unhelpful WP message, troubleshooting issues.

    (troubleshooting)

    Now, I haven’t touched my site for weeks.
    Ergo, it was an automatic plugin up update.
    Using an FTP client, and going through and renaming the plugins one by one.

    renaming (wp-simple-firewall) brought my site back.

    In the plugins now, security-shield is disabled, and also reports that a new version is available.

    Is this the one that killed off my site?
    Is this the safe one?
    Or do I wait?
    Are you perhaps not aware of an issue?
    If so, then there’s gonna be a lot of upset users out there.

    Hi Jessica,

    We’re very sorry for the troubles and we’re here to help, however we can.

    There was an issue with an earlier release which we quickly fixed and perhaps your Shield plugin updated to that…

    We kindly suggest you to update Shield to the latest release 12.0.13 – there are no known issues with this release.
