Major issues with Google Pay/Apple Pay (version 4.0.4)

    1st issue: Google Pay and Apple Pay orders are immediately captured even though the “Capture payment immediately” setting is unchecked.

    2nd issue: Apple pay and google pay do not work when there is a coupon code added. It will spin on “processing” and then throw an error.

    3rd issue: Apple pay will not show if google pay is disabled. The only way to get google pay or apple pay to show is to have both enabled. The plugin gives the option to enable one and not the other, but neither of them show if one is disabled.

    Apple pay and google pay were working fine until a recent version. These issues need to be fixed. I’m forced to disable them now because they are unusable, and I’ve lost stripe fees from the plugin causing apple pay payments to capture immediately.

    Thank you for your findings and for bringing this to our attention. We will take the necessary actions on our side to resolve these issues in our plugin and will soon release an updated version. However, we couldn’t replicate the issue with the coupon code at this time. We are still attempting to reproduce it. If we succeed in replicating it, we will also include a fix in an upcoming release.
